Testing 1, 2, 3

Zo, eindelijk een nieuwe layout op mijn blog en dat niet alleen, ook nieuwe software! Dat moet natuurlijk even getest worden. En belangrijker nog, geshowd :) Er zitten in deze software veel meer functies, dus je kunt je nu per e-mail abonneren op mijn blog, via Google volgen en mijn flickr-foto’s staan nu ook aan de zijkant.

Finally I found a nice new design for my blog and not only the design changed, also the software! So I had to test that ofcourse. Even more important, it has to be shown :) This software has way more options than my old one, so now you can subscribe to my blog by e-mail, follow me through Google and I added my Flickr-photo’s on the side.

Ook heb ik gelijk nog een update van de afzuiging. We hebben hard gewerkt dit weekend :) De afzuiging is klaar, we hebben vandaag de afsluiters erin gemaakt en de “trechters”. Nu kunnen worden beide branders efficient afgezogen en ik kan weer kiezen welke brander ik wil gebruiken, zonder na te denken over de afzuiging.

And I also have an update of the ventilation. We’ve been working pretty hard :) My ventilation is ready now, we put in the valves and funnels. So now both torches have efficient ventilation and I can use both torches without having to think about the ventilation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Zoals te zien op de foto heb ik de werkplek ook al goed in gebruik genomen… het is er al niet meer zo netjes als op de vorige foto’s ;)

As you can see in the new photo I started using the new workbench already… it’s not so tidy anymore as on the last photo’s ;)

Atelier update/Studio update

Ik zag bij mijn vorige blogpost dat ik geen nieuws had gepost over mijn atelier. Hier is sinds de vorige post heel veel gebeurd, dus het wordt wel tijd om dit even te showen. Inmiddels hangt er een goede afzuiging en zijn de gasleidingen aangelegd. We moeten nog veel afwerken en puntjes op de i zetten, maar ik kan er al heel lekker werken :-)

I noticed last time I blogged that I hadn’t shown anything new about my studio. Since the last blogpost about it, a lot has happened, so it really is time to show some new pics. I now have a good ventilation system and everything to switch to natural gas has been installed. We need to do lots of details and finishing things, but in the meanwhile I can work on my very nice new workbench :-)

Workshop Melanie Moertel

Enkele weken geleden heb ik een workshop gevolgd van Melanie Moertel. Ik vind haar kralen prachtig, dus toen zich last-minute de kans toch voordeed om de workshop te gaan volgen, heb ik me gelijk ingeschreven. Hieronder foto’s van de resultaten van de workshop en van de kralen daarna thuis gemaakt.

A few weeks ago I had a workshop by Melanie Moertel. I love her beads, so when I heard there was a last-minute spot available at the workshop, I immediately signed up. Here are some pictures of the results of the workshop and the beads I made at home after that.
