Bobbin beads

Onlangs kwam ik op een forum een leuk type nieuwe kralen tegen. Hier had ik gelijk zoiets van “die moet ik ook proberen”. En zo gezegd, zo gedaan :) Even gesnuffeld in de naaidoos en voila, we konden beginnen. De foto hierboven is van het voorwerk :)

A little while ago I found a very nice looking new type of beads on a forum. I had to try making them too. And so I did :) A little search in my sewing box and yes, I could start. The photo just shown is from preparation :)

Toen kon het echte werk beginnen. Hieronder de voor en na foto’s :)

De lucht in/up in the air

Vorige week had ik zo’n dag dat niks liep zoals verwacht. Waar de ochtend erg vervelend was, was de avond opeens helemaal geweldig… Spontaan kregen we de kans om last minute mee te gaan met een luchtballonvaart. Voor mijn moeder iets wat ze al jaren wil en ja, dan offer je je maar op als gewillig slachtoffer om mee te gaan ;) En het was super! Het is zo bijzonder en zo rustig zo in de lucht. Hierbij een paar foto’s.

Last week I really had a weird day. A morning full of crap, and a really great evening… We got a last minute chance to go with a hot air balloon. For my mum this was something she wanted for years, and hey, I’m not the bad guy here so I volunteered to go with her ;) And is was great! It’s so amazing and so peaceful up in the air. Here are some pictures.

Yes, eindelijk weer kralen om te showen! Een ruime variatie, want ik moest allemaal nieuwe tooltjes uitproberen :)
