2 blogs in 1 weekend, dat is ongekend… maar het is wel zondag, dus tijd voor mijn week in foto’s. Hierboven een compilatie van de bloemen hier in huis. Heerlijk verse bloemen op de vaas! Ik kan bijna niet wachten tot ik lekker in mijn eigen tuin kan plukken. Ik heb heel veel bloemen gezaaid en het meeste komt heel goed op. Nu nog de tuin afmaken, maar tijd en puf is hier een issue, en ook het weer werkt niet helemaal mee. Maar goed, deze lente en zomer komt dat vast nog wel goed.

2 blogs in 1 weekend, wow, that’s a new one… but it is Sunday, so time for my week in photos. Up here you can see a compilation of the flowers in my home. I love fresh flowers on a vase! I can hardly wait till I get to pick flowers in my garden. I’ve sown a lot of flowers and most of them come up very nicely. Now we have to finish the garden, but time and energy are a bit of an issue and also the weather is not playing nice. But we will get it done somewhere this spring/summer.

Vorige week liet ik zien dat ik de Drops Muskat weer tevoorschijn had gehaald om verder te gaan met de deken. Maar dat deed ik toch niet! Ik begon met een blooming flower cushion voor mijzelf! 🙂

Last week I showed you that I got my Drops Muskat from upstairs to go on with the blanket. I didn’t! I started a new blooming flower cushion for myself! 🙂

Deze week was er weer iets meer creativiteit. Ik kreeg de mooiste wol die ik ooit zag binnen! En ik ben helemaal verliefd op de regenboogversie. Ik kocht het bij Atelier Jaffari in Zeeland, van de blog Blij dat ik brei.

Ook ging ik aan de slag met de grote bestelling chunks van Ameland. Op zo’n vel is het behoorlijk wat maar dan geponst in het bakje lijkt het niets… tot je begint met plakken… inmiddels heb ik een bakje vol halffabrikaten die klaarliggen voor de volgende plakronde 🙂

This weer there was a little bit more room for creativity. I got the most beautiful wool I’ve ever seen! And I’m totally in love with the rainbowversion. I bought it at Atelier Jaffare in Zeeland, who is the owner of the blog Blij dat ik brei. I also started with the big chunk order I got from Ameland. On paper it always looks like a lot, but in the little bowl it looks like almost nothing… until you start to glue… I’ve gotten to the semi-finished product, they are waiting for the next glue round 🙂

En ik maakte niet alleen chunks voor Ameland, ik maakte ook wat nieuwe glastop chunks voor de Ladies Night 5 juni 🙂

And not only did I make chunks for Ameland, I made some glas top chunks too for the Ladies Night June 5th 🙂

Er was zelfs nog meer haaktijd, ik maakte een visje voor de kittens, naar het patroon van Zjizjipke. Zij maakte er 2 voor mij voor de lenteswap van laatst en schreef het patroon uit. Ik als totaal niet begaafd amigurumi haakster wilde dat toch graag proberen. En het lukte dit keer! En ondanks dat er geen kattenkruid in zit, spelen ze er toch mee! Ze sliepen ook weer veel, soms zelf enorm schattig gestapeld 🙂 Binx heeft nog steeds een scheef koppie, helaas is dat minder goed nieuws. Komende week houden we contact met de dierenarts, maar de kans is groot dat we naar Utrecht moeten voor een CT-scan om te kijken of er een poliep in z’n oor zijn tegen z’n evenwichtsorgaan… 🙁

There even was a bit more crochet time, I made a little fish for the kittens, after the pattern from Zjizjipke. She made 2 for me for the spring swap and wrote down the pattern. I as a totally not talented amigurumi chrocheter wanted to try it. And it worked out! And despite the fact it doesn’t have catnip in it, they do play with it! They also slept a lot, sometimes even very cute on each other 🙂 Binx still has a tilted head, unfortunately that is not so good news. Next week we’ll be staying in contact with the vet, but chances are we have to go to Utrecht for a CT-scan to look if he has a polyp in his ear against his vestibular.

Ook qua eten was ik lekker creatief 🙂 Ik maakte afgelopen week wentelteefjes met vanillesaus en omdat ik vanillesaus over had de dag erna ook nog appel crumble. Ik at weer eens havermoutpap als ontbijt, lekker gezond met aardbei en blauwe bessen. Woensdag op het werk had ik enorme behoefte aan chocola, dus ‘s middags ging ik toch al naar de Ako voor de post en toen kon ik het niet laten… het is dicht gebleven tot ‘s avonds en ik nam toen 1 blokje rolo en 1 blokje crunchy en het bakje m&m’s die ik kleur voor kleur opat (hoezo kleuridioot…). Vandaag maakte ik lekker roerei bij de lunch met een broodje en vanavond lekker een bordje vol groente met een radijstzatziki. Dus niet te dichtbij komen nu, want ik er zaten 3 teentjes knoflook in 🙂

And as for food I was also creative 🙂 I made French toast with vanilla sauce this week and because we had left over vanilla sauce I made an apple crumble the next day. I ate some oatmeal porridge as breakfast, nice and healthy with strawberries and blue berries. Wednesday at work I really had cravings for chocolate, so as I had to go to the post office that afternoon I bought chocolate… I only opened it in the evening and took 1 square rolo and 1 square crunchy and the little bowl of m&m’s, that I ate colour for colour (what do yo mean colour idiot…). Today I made a nice scrambled eggs for lunch with a bun and tonight we had a plate full of veggies with a radish tzatziki. So don’t come to close now, there were 3 cloves of garlic in it 🙂

En gisteren ging ik naar het Curve Collective festival! Het was echt geweldig! Maar daarover deze week meer, want dat verdiend een volledige eigen blogpost 🙂 Hier zie je alvast de “opbrengst” en wat ik thuis aantrof toen ik weer thuis kwam. Bloemen, pakjes, cadeautjes en leuke aankopen…

And yesterday I went to the Curve Collective festival! It was amazing! But more this week, because that deserves a blog post on its own 🙂 Here you can see “yield” and what I found at home as I came home. Flowers, parcels, gifts, and great purchases…
