oftewel work in progress. Dat zijn er hier nogal wat 🙂

Op de bank lagen al langere tijd 2 projectjes, mijn 365 dagen project van vorig jaar, met de hexagons, waar ik in april al mee stopte. Maar waar ook nog flink wat op afgehecht moest worden. En een giant granny square die hierboven te zien is, in wording, eveneens met heel veel losse draadjes. Aangezien we de kittens vrijdag opgehaald hebben, had ik mijn haakwerkjes allemaal opgeruimd, alleen die twee dekentjes lagen op de bank, voor het geval de kittens het koud zouden hebben of gewoon ergens onder wilden kruipen. En omdat ze dus lekker laten te slapen op mij, kon ik niet even een haakwerkje pakken, maar wat wel kon, was mijn naald pakken en de eindjes afhechten. Dus nu heb ik beiden afgehecht 🙂

On the couch there were 2 projects for quite some time now, my 365 days project from last year, with the hexagons, you know the one I stopped making in april. But there were still a lot of ends to darn in. And a giant granny square start, you can see it at the beginning of this blog, also with a lot of loose ends. Since we picked up the kittens on Friday, I put away all the crochet projects, just the two small blankets were still on the couch, just in case the kittens were cold or just wanted to crawl under them. Ans since they were sleeping on top of me, I couldn’t get to my crochet projects, but what I could do, was get my darning needle and darn in the ends. So now both are nicely finished now 🙂_

En na alle verhalen over de kittens die zouden komen, kan ik natuurlijk nu ook heel veel foto’s laten zien en schrijven over de belevenissen als kattenmoeder… ik heb al een mega verhaal van alleen maar 3 dagen… je gaat van de ene belevenis naar de andere, de ene leuk en de ander beduidend minder. Want waarom heeft niemand me verteld dat hun poepjes zo stinken?!! Of hoe lastig het is om ze hun drankje te laten drinken of een pilletje te geven!? Ach ja, alles zal wel wennen voor ons en voor de kittens. Al betwijfel ik of ze ooit zullen gaan meewerken met medicijnen geven.

En als je ze dan weer zo lief op de verwarming ziet liggen, ach dan is dat ook allemaal wel weer vergeten.

_And after all the stories about the kittens that were going to come home, I could also ad a lot of photos and write about all the adventures as a cat mother… I already got a huge story of only 3 days… it’s just going from one adventure to the next, some are fun, others obviously not. Why did no-one told me how much their poop stinks!? Or how hard it is to give them their medicines either in fluids or in pills… Oh well, we will adjust, and the kittens also. But I do doubt if they will ever co-operate while giving them their meds.

And just seeing them so cute on the radiator together, all is already forgotten._
